Lamara International Charitable Foundation was founded in 2005 by Lamara's family to help children with cerebral palsy and other various forms of brain abnormalities.

The Charity primarily focuses on countries of the Former Soviet Union and has already established strong links with health centres in Georgia, Russia and Ukraine.

In the UK we seek to support various organisations that care and treat children with cerebral palsy.

Cerebral palsy is a term used to describe a group of chronic conditions affecting body movements and muscle coordination.

It is caused by damage to one or more specific areas of the brain, affecting approximately one child in every 400.
